AHhhhhhhh been so sick

Wow, for the past 2 1/2 days I have felt very bad. Stomach, fever, chills, ache, the who flu symptoms........It is my goal to get better before tomorrow! There is a lot I need to get accomplished and have not even started, and the weekend is a few hours from being over!!!!!! I have been drinking sprite and today make me some homemade tomato, veggie soup.....! So good so far!

I will post something later, but for now, I have to say, "I am sorry, I just do not feel like catching you up on the latest".....Hugs and Kisses to all!

The students are doing a great job learning Video Production/ Editing. We actually set up the whole crew, director/producer; wardrobe; make-up; production crew; videographer; editor; music, so on and so on. We are having so much fun! Oh, all the students in the filming are fine and kicking!

A lil rain won't slow down barrel racers!

A little rain won't stop true barrel racers! These pictures are from Sunday's barrel race, it was just sprinkling, while the day before......a heavy down poor with lightening was happening right before I ran. 35-40 feet from the indoor arena, they call my name, Bunny and I go towards the arena, she had her head ducked trying to miss the rain that was falling so hard on us. I knew there was no way around it. Getting to the alley, we go in to make our run. My shirt, hair, horse, pants, all were soaking wet, we made our run. I came out, we headed to the trailer, I unsaddled, throwing the saddle in the trailer, loading my girls and came home. What a great day! Got a call from the director, Bunny Lou and I won some $!

Recipe of the week/month/year

Depending on how much time I will have in the future, will depend on how many recipes I share. A dear friend has sparked my interest in posting a recipe on my blog. Thanks Angela B!

Blueberry Muffins

(since blueberries will be coming off soon)

2 cups all purpose flour

2/3 cup sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp slat

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted

1 tsp ground nutmeg

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups fresh (or frozen) blueberries

additional butter

additional sugar

In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl beat eggs. Blend in milk, butter, nutmeg and vanilla; pour into dry ingredients and mist just until moistened. Fold in blueberries. Fill greased or paperline muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar (optional)

Cheese Ball

(this is great for potluck or parties)

2 - 8oz cream cheese, soften

chopped onion (to taste)

chopped bell pepper ( to taste)

1 small can crushed pinapple (drained)

1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt

Mix well and shape in a small ball, top with chopped pecans

great with ritz crackers

Had to visit the dentist

You know what stinks? Going to the dentist "A must" when your tooth breaks and is stuck in your gums by its roots! These are not my teeth in the picture, but hopefully they will be after all this expensive work is completed. After spending two hours in his office yesterday (God Bless them for working me in on a Monday), they put a temp in until my 'porcelain' tooth comes in! LOL I can't help but laugh, when you put the temp, which is a white plastic tooth up against my other teeth, I AM DESPERATE FOR A WHITENING TREATMENT.....My mouth is sore from the lidocaine and needle, he had to inject more lidoicane because the feeling started coming back before he finished grinding my tooth.

After all that was said and done, I am returning to have my porcelain tooth and get fitted for trays for whitening treatment. This is killing my Florida trip plans AND the fact that BB has 3 basketball camps in July! My best friend and I have discussed going to Branson for some days, she is bound and determined to get me away!

Went Barrel Racing TODAY!

OMGosh, I had so much fun, that I didn't want to come home! Bunny and I ran at the race today and it felt ssssooo good. I can't believe that I waited so long to hit a race. I am ready for next weekend!

Amongst all this excitement, I came home and started a headache from Hay-deees ( I think it is due to my blood pressure medicine), I got home and was starving so I fixed some pizza's and two bites into it, my tooth broke. I don't mean the filling fell out, I mean it "broke" and is still in my mouth! It is hanging from the root/skin what ever, all I know is my gum is killing me! I can't pull it out and I can't eat! It feels like I have something stuck under my gums, for example.........FOOD! Now I have to wait until Monday to call my dentist, hoping he can get me in soon!

What a day and I probably wouldn't change my day, except my tooth breaking, but I had so much fun at the race! So much I am in PAIN now!

While the grands were here for the evening, we decided to hide eggs since the chance of rain is 90 percent Sunday. If you have not kept a 3 and 6 year old, I have found that I realize why I had kids when I was young. I am worn completely out when they go home. I can come home after a days work and ride horses, feed, go to Wal Mart and still have energy, but these precious ones, keep me going! LOL

With BB and Colby's help, I gave them a bath after supper while they stuffed and hid eggs. As you see, they were bouncing on my bed prior to the hunt!
