Wedding bells r ringing in the family!!!

It has been longer than expected in my return! I am 2x busier now, my daughter BB is getting married and with such a short time (ok, it feels like a short time) to get ready......I feel the walls are closing in!  LOL, Just an expression.  She is going to begin her "wedding blog" soon and I will attach a link so you can follow! 

Seems like I am a slacker....

At one time (yes, a year ago) I said I was coming back to blogging.....I never knew so much was going to change in my life! Driving seems to take up most of my spare time and then there is my daughter and her boyfriend, who I love spending time with......with the other time, I am driving home from my apartment to see hubbie on weekends! Am I complaining? Nope, not at all!    

I hope to post and get caught up with my blogging friends! I feel FB and Twitter has consumed my life ( spare time) and my blogging has fallen to the waste! I can't promise I am returning daily, but hope I can at least post pictures and be more updated than yearly post! XOXO's

Counseling

Dear blogging friends and family ~ I am now settled in my new job in northwest Arkansas! I had to go away for a year to get my 'experience' before moving to a school that I wanted to be at. I am a High School Counselor and love every minute of it!

As time goes on, I hope to share lots of pictures with you! My daughter and I are sharing an apartment (until I find a permanent place), I love the convenience of the city and feel very blessed to have a supportive family and a job that I love.

God has Blessed me! Until next time!

I am BACK....

OMGosh, it has been approximately a year since I have been on my blog! I will have to share my last year! OK, it would take too long, the short of it, I moved so that I could be closer to my new job position, got experience and then I was able to move to where I wanted to begin with! I am now in a more permanent place.

I can start blogging again and I have to apologize for the fast get-a-way before. I accepted the job one week and started work that Monday!

I AM BACK.....and I have missed you guys ssssoooo much!

Some dear friends of mine text me and wanted to know if we wanted to go eat and hit the movies last night! We let our kids decide..............."Stoby's" restaurant and "Last Airbender 3D". I had so much fun last night, laughed, ate, and watched my first 3D movie! IT WAS SO COOOOLLLLLL! I wasn't sure about the movie, but it was great too!

My bestie Pam...this trailer her team roping son 'Jake Long' is sitting in the top 15 in the world and he won this trailer and a truck at the George Straight roping last month. Lil Bit was privileged in George S. trailer.

Greg and I walked her while Pam and Randy were on their way to Tulsa from Kansas.....

We met our best friends in Tulsa on the 4th (yesterday) for a day of eating, shopping and visiting. It was great being with them, but I also had to say goodbye to one of my girls (horses).......not that I wanted to sell her, but this mare 'loves' running barrels, she loves attention and wants to be going all the time. With B going off to college, she is going to be busy with the Arkansas Razorback football team as their manager, so in reality, I needed to sell one of my girls. It is hard to ride three horses a day, put up 2 gardens full of veggies and do my other chores. SO, Pam said, bring Lil Bit to me! She trained her and knows the love she has for barrel racing. While we were in Tulsa, she was already receiving text messages about Lil Bit. She will be going to a good home and make some lil girl happy like she has for my daughter (won a saddle on Lil Bit) and myself!

Also, today is my grandson's birthday! I wanted to wish him the best day with lots and lots of hugs and kisses......HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALE! Mems and Pops luvs you! We will bring your birthday gift to you! :)

Home Grown

A little fresh okra, tomatoes, and new potatoes from the garden and fresh eggs from the chickens......what more do you need for a good lunch? Oh, I did add some fresh mild cheddar cheese....it was sossosososo good and fresh, all home grown!
