oh my Grand babies.........

Fallon playing on the jungle gym (not watching Bubba's ballgame)

Peeping at Mems while playing....

Kale batting right handed (then switched to left on his next batting)

Running home!

Kale Running to 3rd base

Kale 'jumping' to 2nd base,, that lil hop for securing his foot on the base!

I realize each and every day why our grandbabies are called "grand" children......they are grand! I guess as we grow older, we have time to stop and smell the roses! All you want to do is take care of the babies! At Kale's ballgame I took pictures again, while Fallon was on the playground, not caring at all about 'bubba's' ballgame!

Kayleigh's Story

My daughter had this link on her blog, curious as I am, I went to the blog site
http://kayleighannefreeman.blogspot.com/ and spent two hours reading Kayleigh's story. Please take the time to pray for this family.......at times, I am sure we all feel we have it rough, then I read stories like this, it puts me back into reality. This also reminds me, God gave us the ability to pray, we are to lift others up to Him and it is our job to help ones in need.

Rooster gone 'Wild' UPDATE

Update....BB would not return to the chicken house to take pictures as someone requested! I entered the house and the rooster stood proud to have his picture taken! I think it is personal!

As family and friends know, we are going back in time in the way my grandparents lived by gardening, canning and freezing vegetables, raising and butchering our own beef and pork. Chickens is also a part of our 'farm'. To be exact, 1 rooster and 15 chickens. To determine if our rooster has gone "wild", you first have to decide if our daughter is really sure that the rooster 'attack' the poor child or she just accidentally 'fell' over the rooster while gathering the eggs!

Today, the child has 'bite' marks on her legs to prove the rooster did attack her and the past experience of her telling us that the rooster has been chasing her in the coop is true! I can't say that I have ever heard of a rooster chasing anyone! Our rooster has officially gone "wild".....in Arkansas, not Florida! :) For sale: Fresh Farm eggs and one wild rooster!

Senior Citizens? 50 and over? ME?

OMG (pronounced O,M,G).....today at Church, I was reading the bulletin and noticed they have a "Senior Citizen" dinner in a couple of weeks! It reads, "50 and over come feed your body and soul".....since when is 50 really considered "Senior Citizen"? I feel more 'middle age' than a senior. Of course, the older I get the younger "numbers" sound to me! I thought the definition of a senior means grey hair, walking stick, and elastic pants! THAT IS NOT ME!

I think it has finally hit me when I receive an AARP form in the mail! I remember dad took offense to this when he turned 50 and received AARP form, then he soon realized all the 'discounts' he received and the $ he saved, he is proud to bring out his AARP card!

As time goes on, as long as I don't feel 50 (over the hill) then numbers should not matter! LOL, I can only laugh about this rather than cry! It is much better than the alternative!

Babysitting?

While my grand babies were out of town (boohoo), they ask me to keep their prize pet "Melvin", I had to take pictures to show Melvin was doing just fine!

What we learn in "Counseling" class...

Jennifer and Lisa
You think in class we are "analyzing" everything all the time....which we are, but this particular instant, these two friends of mine, were asked to go 'above and beyond' our normal class time! Yes, they are holding a lady bug while going over our work! Can you tell we have elementary counselors in our class?
